Our Story Begins
Our story begins with a hammer in hand, guided by the steady influence of our dad, who worked in the construction trade. From a young age, my brothers and I were immersed in the world of home construction and remodeling. Dad made sure we learned more than just how to swing a hammer; he taught us the value of hard work and doing what you love. One of our earliest lessons in framing came from working alongside a friend, “Bob the Builder,” a fitting name for a man who helped shape our early experiences. We weren’t wealthy growing up, but those hands-on projects became invaluable lessons in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and perseverance.
In our early years, we worked on everything from building houses to remodeling homes with family friends in the trade. We didn’t always get it right at first, but with each mistake, we grew more skilled and confident. Even while pursuing different paths in college, my brothers and I kept building alongside Dad, laying down foundations for our future. When he passed away from cancer, it was a tough time, but we carried the lessons he taught us into everything we did. Whether in real estate, construction, or new ventures, his values remained the cornerstone of our efforts.
As our careers grew, so did our businesses. Eventually, my brothers and I came together to combine our strengths and build something even bigger. Today, The Neidlinger Companies is a reflection of the hard work, integrity, and passion instilled in us by our dad. We now manage over 800 rental properties, operate a personal care home, and run several other companies within the real estate space. Our story is one of family, grit, and growth—taking what we learned along the way to build a legacy we’re proud of.
